Three ways Medicare coverage works

Every review starts with your situation — these are the coverage paths we compare.

Medicare Advantage

All-in-one coverage through private carriers — often with drug coverage and extras included. We check your doctors and prescriptions against each plan's network before you enroll.

Medicare Supplement (Medigap)

Plans G and N fill the gaps Original Medicare leaves — predictable costs and any provider that accepts Medicare. We compare rates from the carriers we represent.

Part D (Prescriptions)

Drug plans change every year. We run your medication list against the plans in your ZIP code so there are no January surprises.

We do not offer every plan available in your area. Currently we represent 7 organizations which offer 5 products in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE, or your local State Health Insurance Assistance Program to get information on all of your options.

What a free Medicare review covers

  • Your doctors and hospitals, matched to each plan's network
  • Your prescriptions, priced plan by plan for next year
  • Enrollment windows — when you can switch and what it takes
  • Honest answers about what each plan does not cover

Reviews take about 30 minutes, by phone or in person. There is never a charge — agents are paid by the carriers, never by you.

Medicare questions we hear every week

Do I need a Medicare Advantage or a Medicare Supplement plan?

It depends on your doctors, prescriptions and budget. Medicare Advantage often has lower premiums with network rules; Medicare Supplement (Medigap) usually costs more monthly but lets you see any provider that accepts Medicare. A licensed local agent can compare both side by side for your ZIP code at no cost.

Is XactInsure free to work with?

Yes. XactInsure is paid by the carriers, never by you, so consultations, plan comparisons and enrollment help are free.

When can I change my Medicare plan?

Most changes happen during the Annual Enrollment Period (October 15 – December 7), for coverage starting January 1. Qualifying life events may open a Special Enrollment Period at other times.

Which areas do you serve?

We serve Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples and communities across Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties in Southwest Florida.
